The spring has been amazing this year. Lots of rain and snow bringing spectacular landscapes of flowers, green valleys and snowcapped peaks. I have been out shooting as much as possible lately, trying to squeeze in a few more shots into my first book in production....It is currently 8"H x 14"W, up to about 125 pages and will be a high quality hard cover production. They will hopefully be ready by October at the latest. I will post more information soon and will also be taking discounted pre-orders after the final proofs are complete...

It's amazing what a little rest can do....While scuba diving at 60 feet deep in the crystal blue Caribbean waters last week, the pristine coral world provided a clear view of what I needed to do back home. With spring in the air, I'm looking forward to getting back to the immersion into the backcountry, off the beaten path, wondering around in the beauty I call home. Like floating in the ocean next to a 100 year old sea turtle, or standing near an ancient tree in the Montana cedar groves, the mirror of impermanence makes life even that much sweeter.

I've got cabin fever, and its time for a warm vacation....The studio and print shop will be closed from Saturday March 10th, thru Monday March 19th. All website orders will be filled upon my return. However, the gallery in the Emerson will be available to help@585-8881 and will be open from Tuesday-Friday 10am-5pm.
NEWS: Feb. 22nd, 2007:
Well, its been and interesting winter, the snow has almost been non-existant and I've canned most of my winter location shoots. However, this has forced me to hole up in the office and really focus on a few projects. The two new websites are getting closer to completion and should be announced in the next few weeks. Unfortuneately the ski area photo book has been postponed yet another winter, but the "Montana Panoramic Volume 1" book is coming along nicely and should hit the shelves by the end of the summer if everything goes according to plan.....Thanks again for all the comments, criticisms and support...now go get outside, life is short!
NEWS: Dec. 23rd 2006:
Thank you to everyone for helping make this a great year....I sincerely appreciate all the positive feedback and your continued patronage. I'm looking forward to an exciting new year with several new projects including two books in production and two new websites to be announced......
NEWS: Oct. 4th 2006:
The Fall colors are spectacular this year, and I've been out every day for the last couple weeks shooting in the Hamilton, Three Forks, Livingston, Missouri River Breaks, Yellowstone and Glacier areas. Did a great hike on Monday in the Rock Creek area of the Paradise Valley. Went in to the Gallatin Petrified Forest to see what it was about and climbed up to a volcanic outcropping. It was amazing! Roamed around for hours in an unworldy, cavernous geological world set atop the side of the river valley....Very excited about all the new images and will hopefully have them processed in the next few weeks.
NEWS: September 20th 2006: Books on the way...
I've had quite a few requests for books lately, and did have a ski book planned for release in November. However, projects this big always seem to take longer than planned. The ski book has been delayed until Fall 2007 (I need one more winter of photos) and the "Montana Panoramic Volume 1" is planned for production in the spring of 2007. I will be taking discounted pre-orders for both books soon.....
view and purchase images at the new ERA Landmark downtown office.
NEWS: August 10th, 2006. Thank you Sweet Pea patrons....
A big thank you to all who stopped by the booth at the Sweet Pea Festival for the Arts. The festival was a great success, and I sincerely appreciate all your positive comments and everyone who helped support my work by making a purchase....See you next year.....
NEWS: July 1st, 2006. Montana Homestead Project.
I am working on a new project that focuses on the changing landscape of the rural environment of family farms and ranches. If you have a farm, ranch homestead or land that you would like to have photographed, please call or e-mail me. After completion, I will provide your family with print from the shoot at no charge.
NEWS: June 15th, 2006. Location Suggestions.
There are so many special spots around Montana that are so far off the beaten path that only the locals know about them. A recent invitation to a private family ranch on the Pryor Mountain Wild Horse Range yielded one of the most satisfying shoots I've been on in awhile. So please, e-mail your suggestions of your favorite place in the world, I'd love to go there.

I am happy to announce that starting March 1st, I will moving in to a new gallery space and joining forces with owner Lisa McGrory of Beaucoup Framing located in Room 111 in the Emerson Cultural Center for the Arts. This is a very exciting move (just across the hall from my old gallery space), as I will be able to display tons of work, and now offer full service professional framing for all my limited edition prints and posters.
NEWS: December 7th, 2005
After many intensive tests, and high customer demand, all the limited edition prints are now also available as Giclee' prints on 100% cotton archival canvas. I have been blown away with the quality of this new process as it offers amazing detail and color reproduction along with many new framing options. Please see the prints page for more details.
