Location: Three Forks, MT

I've always believed in being in the right place at the right time, lots of preparation and hard work, and of course, mix in a little luck. I had set up for a fall shot of the Jefferson River outside of Three Forks, waiting for the sunset over the Bridgers to develop. I ended up taking the shot three times in different light conditions, then on the 4th time I saw this doe and fawn jump out of the brush and start crossing right in the middle of the frame.
