Limited EDITION PRINTS:
Each limited edition print is individually produced and signed when your order is placed, and made in sequential order of the edition no matter what the size of the print (editions of 75 & 150 are noted on each image). When each edition is printed, it is signed and numbered on the print and in the print edition registry kept in a locked safe. Limited edition prints are only available on the finest cotton art papers and canvas. These are not the "cut rate" canvas prints you see on other websites. I only use the finest archival 100% cotton canvas for my prints, then seal them using a non-toxic scratch and UV coating. These canvas prints are made to last not just a lifetime, but several lifetimes. The goal is to provide you will the highest quality, longest lasting print, while maintaining a limited number to protect the investment in your purchase. Each limited edition print includes a signed certificate of authenticity and is guaranteed for life.

OPEN EDITION PRINTS:
Open edition prints are  produced with no predetermined limit to the number of copies that might be made. These are produced with the same very high quality papers and archival giclee' printing process as the limited editions, however are offered at a lower cost.

PAPER CHOICES:
Archival Cotton Paper:
The prints on fine art cotton paper are very vivid and have a bit more sharpness than the canvas. This is a 100 percent archival museum quality cotton photographic matte paper that is very thick and lightly textured. Photos produced on this paper have a very warm, almost lithographic feel to them, and are perfect for small or medium sized prints. These prints need to be framed traditionally with glass.
Archival Museum Quality Canvas:

The canvas prints have the same vivid photographic color and detail as the prints on paper, but with an added hint of a painterly quality that results in a stunning reproduction. The canvas also has the benefit of being hung as a frame less gallery wrap and hanging without glass, which is a cost savings on framing, and virtually eliminates any glare on the print. These are not the "cut rate" canvas prints you see at discount stores, or on other websites. I only use the finest archival 100% cotton canvas for my prints, then put an additional sealant over them using a custom made non-toxic scratch and UV coating. These canvas prints are made to last not just a lifetime, but several lifetimes, guaranteed.
Metallic Gloss:

Metallic gloss is an extraordinarily high-gloss paper with a unique metallic surface finish.  Colors are more brilliant sharp and stunning, very similar to traditional Fuji Chrome prints and look great in a wide variety of framing methods including face-mounting with plexiglass.
**Metallic gloss is currently only available by request. When ordering online, select fine art paper, then just shoot us an mail saying you would like the metallic gloss paper, or of course just give us a call*

Photo Quality Gloss Posters: Each poster is individually produced on a high quality gloss photo paper. The colors are just as clean and vibrant as the limited edition prints, but the paper quality and longevity of the print without fading is not the same. However, these reproductions are much better than regular mass produced posters, and will last for years to come. These posters make excellent low cost, high quality gifts perfect for framing. Posters are available in one size only for that image. Either 10" x 24" or 10" x 30" depending on the image.

Framing:
Barnwood:

Reclaimed barn and fence wood from right here in Montana. I make every one of these frames custom to compliment each image. Every piece of wood is unique in its color, texture and tone and makes a one of a kind framing option for your print or poster.

Other canvas print framing options:

Cotton paper, poster and metallic gloss print options:
1" molding with 2.5" single white matte with UV glass
Molding color choices of black, dark walnut, or barnwood.

...Instead of merely imparting a place in time, as most photos do, Hergert’s panoramics seem to capture the entirety of a scene, from subtle differences in topography and color to holistic form and totality of detail.
